Busch Gardens – Williamsburg
In June 2006, Kelly and I took a short vacation to visit the Busch Gardens amusement park and Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia. While we were there, we hooked up with her baby brother Carl. These photographs are proof that there is life outside of southwestern Pennsylvania.
Restored Pie Safe
I inherited an antique pie safe from my mother, who inherited it from her paternal grandmother. It's condition had deteriorated over the years, a state made more acute after several short- and long-haul moves. So, I contacted Grimes Interiors, a local interior design and restoration company, to tune it up. Six months later, I got it back. Here are the results of the work. I'm delighted with the job they did and heartily recommend their work to anyone. I've got some other pieces that I hope to have restored over the next few years.
