Welcome to KurtWerks. You'll find a fair representation of my activities and interests here. At the moment, the biggest news is that I moved to San Jose, California in November, 2007 to take a position as a QA engineer with NVIDIA. More recently, I've given these pages a slight tune-up.

The heaviest traffic KurtWerks receives goes to my list of articles, reviews, and books — if you're looking for book-related downloads, go here. KurtWerks also gets a fair number of visitors, mostly family and friends, interested in photographs.

Over the years, I've written a number of HOWTOs, documents that use a cookbook style to describe how to perform various tasks vis-a-vis Linux usage. Most of them are somewhat out-of-date at this point, but they are still useful. Other articles involve Linux-related troubleshooting or application usage.

Make Your Own is my little clearinghouse of information about making your own cigarettes. Yes, I smoke; no, I don't feel guilty about it.

If you care, here's the elapsed time since my last drink.
